Matthew 11:28-30 KJV “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Jesus wants us to come to him; the fornicator, the liar, the adulterous, the stubborn, the drug addict, the selfish, the murderer, the recalcitrant, the worst sinner. As we come to Jesus, He wants us to learn His character and live His kind of life. He wants us to put off the unwanted and dirty garments we wore into His presence and put on the ones He has for us. Colossians 3:8-10 KJV “But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:” Do you feel abandoned, rejected, dirty, worthless or irredeemable?
